Introduction to the EPDM API
Tips and Strategies for Large Automation Projects
Thanks for posting these, Mike. Looking forward to more content on your new blog.
ReplyDeleteIn your Large Automation presentation, good suggestion to keep the user form as clean as possible, to increase the modularity of the code. I had never thought of that.

Thanks Keith. It was good to meet you at SolidWorks World.
ReplyDeleteLooking to learn how to program with the Solidworks\EPDM API any suggestions on the best route please? Thanks
ReplyDeleteSorry to leave you hanging Simon! I have a few chapters in the current edition of Automating SolidWorks 2011 Using Macros that are dedicated to EPDM API basics. Beyond that, the API help documentation for EPDM is decent and has a lot of sample code you can start digesting. Of course, you'll need to be comfortable with a code language. I'd suggest C# or VB.NET if you don't already have a favorite.
